School Tours, Summer 2023
At the end of May, 2nd - 6th class pupils travelled to Waterford for their School Tour.
The girls visited Activate, an activity centre that got everybody moving!
Pupils enjoyed activities like climbing, laser tag, the interactive zone, soft-play area and bowling. They also had a hot lunch!
Following this, the girls boarded the bus for Kilmeaden, and the Suir Valley Railway.
There, they had a train ride in the sun, by the banks of the Suir, just by the Greenway.
Piggy-banks were emptied at the souvenir and sweet shop!
In the hot weather, ice-creams were the order of the day!
Thanks to all pupils for being so well behaved while on tour, and for taking part with enthusiasm in all activities, making it a fun day out for all.
In early June, Junior Infants to 1st Class headed to Castleview Open Farm in Cullohill.
This tour was a big success, as pupils had the opportunity to feed and pet the animals. They also had time to play indoors and out!
