Fadó, Fadó Essay Competition Success!

Kilkenny Library, with Kilkenny Archaeological Society ran a competition this Spring. Pupils entered by writing an essay about local heritage.

The girls of 3rd to 6th Class all took part, and each worked very hard, researching and writing about topics and places of interest to them.

Ms. Tyrrell received great news in April, that Beatrice in 6th Class won the overall prize! First place in the essay competition!

Furthermore, the following girls' essays were deemed 'Highly Commended': Nihara, Kathryn, Emily, Áine, Amy and Liliana.

Congratulations to all the girls and to Ms. Tyrrell, too!
